About Santa Monica Brazilian Music Workshop
If you want to learn samba pagode, this Pagode Workshop is for you. Carlinhos Pandeiro de Ouro is one of the world's greatest pandeiro players, who was music director of the Mangueira samba school, and has performed with just about every great Brazilian musician you can name.
Pagode class is Sundays at 4PM, and will be at the 18th St Arts Center, 1639 18th St, in Santa Monica, unless otherwise notified.
We'll be in the main gallery at 1639. Closest cross street is Olympic.
Class fee is $20.
Carlinhos teaches a Tuesday night pandeiro/percussion class at 7:30PM, also at the 18th St Arts Center.
